Went in with high hopes as the store looked promising….that’s as far as it went. Wanted a small matching tattoo with my cousin and ended up unhappy. The stencil was much larger then spoken about and when I asked her to make it smaller she refused and I trusted her judgement. She said that she wasn’t used to doing small pieces which she then should have said she wasn’t comfortable doing it instead of proceeding. The tattoos did not match…wonky lines and terrible end result. I’ve had better tattoos from apprentices… talked about all her experience but doesn’t reflect in her work which I am now stuck with to cover up.
Always a good vibe, very professional artist who works with you to make sure your dream artwork comes to life and then it's yours for ever. Can also have a coffee ☕️ and purchase alcohol. Donna is a very talented artist who draws up her own designs, not just copying something from the internet. I'm always a happy customer when I leave and that's the main goal
I had a bad experience with Donna, I came in for a simple 10 minute tattoo job of a small arrow on my phone. She drew it on free hand in the wrong spot 3 times, ended up being in the wrong spot after it was done and to find she made the feathers way too big for the little size it was and the ink ran as she put two lines on one side and not the other. Cost me $120 for 15mins and she did not listen to me. Not satisfied!
Really sucks that Facebook allows businesses to delete bad reviews. Well this shop has questionable "artwork" that looks like it’s all done by an apprentice. In fact, I’ve seen first year apprentices produce better work than this person who calls herself an artist. And only one tattooist?? And whiskey bar right next to a hair dressers which is right next to people getting a tattoo? I mean RIGHT next to. In the same room. Blood+ink+hair+alcohol. Bit weird and gross. I don’t know how this is allowed.
After a great initial consultation that was very informative the owner said she would book me in for 5pm the next day although having a busy day, upon arriving on time for my appointment and letting the co-worker know I was there for a 5pm tattoo appointment with donna, I was left waiting for 1 hour before someone approached me asking what I was there for. I was told I would not have been booked in and must of been confused with another day. However I explained to donna the previous day I was leaving for Melbourne a day later hence her booking me in when she did. It was very frustrating and unprofessional to sit there for an hour for a time i was told to come in to be sent away and told I was incorrect. I was very excited for this appointment as donna sounded like a great artist and really talked herself up. However this has really annoyed me and put me off wanting to go here again. Unless donna couldn't be stuffed doing my tattoo after a long day of work or she just forgot, when doing a consultation i was with a second person who also confirmed donna booking me in today. so I am certain that my appointment was defiantly when I arrived.
Not happy. Got two tattoos. One looks fab which was my foot but the artist was trying to convince me to get a tattoo where i did not want it and after saying i didntwant it there shaved the hair of my ankle when i wanted it on my foot. After 10 mins of trying to convince me she put it on my foot. Looks amazing and hasnt had any issues. The other tattoo on the other hand is a different story, being an apprentice she shouldve used a stencil regardless and with the tattoo it was not the right shape. It was left smudged through my skin and i only recently got that smudge fixed by a home remedy. And the black in the small solid shape was not a solid colour, after 3 or 4 attempts to fix the shape i gave up, paid and left unhappy. Refuse to go back and will be going to my new artist from now on as they r much much nicer and respectful
Had my septum pierced and my son had his first ear piercing here with Donna. Absolutely amazing experience, will definitely be returning!
