Rose Rabbit Tattoo

Casey is no doubt one of the best artists in Australia. I’d been going to him for tattoos for over 3 year's. I always showed him respect, but out of nowhere he started ghosting me, leaving multiple large pieces unfinished. I’ve got a sleeve he promised to fix after letting his apprentice do work that turned out terrible, plus an unfinished back piece and leg sleeve. Casey’s a talented guy, but be careful — my experience ended with unfinished work and no communication. I have been trying to get in contact for over a year. We never had a problem. I’d think if he was professional he would atleast give me a reason as to why he can’t finish what he started.

Told to Message—Then Completely Ignored. (Screenshots attached show multiple unanswered DMs, failed calls to the studio, and follow-up messages to both the artist and official studio account.) I was genuinely excited to work with this studio and had high hopes for a detailed cover-up sleeve. I visited in person because their phone line wasn’t working (which is still the case). I spoke directly with Casey, who showed interest and told me to send reference photos via Instagram. He said he’d get back to me within 48 hours. I followed his instructions and sent images and a detailed message immediately. That was nearly two weeks ago. He hasn’t opened the message. I followed up with another polite message days later—still unread. And yet, he’s active on Instagram daily, even posting about having last-minute slots available. I also messaged the studio’s official Instagram account to follow up—again, no response. I completely understand if someone gets busy or changes their mind—but this is just unprofessional. Ghosting a client after personally inviting them to reach out is not acceptable business practice. If you’re considering this studio, be aware that you may be ignored entirely—even after doing everything right. I won’t be proceeding with my tattoo here, not that it was ever going to happen anyway. I can’t recommend this studio to others.

Absolutely blown away by Jetts tattooing skills. I booked with them, not exactly knowing what i wanted, only having an idea of what i was inspired by, did a consult with him, and the legend came back with such a cool ass design. When i spoke to him, he was truthful with what he specialised in, never made me feel pressure with him, and said if i wanted something he wasnt comfortable in, (such as lots of colour) he could suggest someone way more skilled in it. His professionality,and personality, made me feel safe in his hands, and know my tattoo would turn out as awesome as he envisioned. During the whole tattoo, he was constantly checking up on me, gave a realisitic timeset/outcome/quote, and went above and beyond to ensure it was something both of us were proud of, taking the time to really refine/design his work, and have high detail in small areas such as the lanterns. He and the other staff also made me feel very welcome and included. Will definitely be going back to Jett when i want my next tattoo (This tattoo was also done in 2 sessions, which is why parts are fresh, and parts a healed, something he told me both before and after the tattooing)
