Takumi Tattoo

Had a lot of work done here over the years and will continue to do so. Beau is a great artist and has created a very comfortable studio, great for that first tattoo or spending sessions upon sessions getting a sleeve. Beau also has a good instinct for selecting apprentices and guest artists, so you will always be in safe hands.

Beau is a true craftsman. Today I had three small but incredibly intricate designs tattooed, and I was absolutely blown away by the precision, care, and artistry that went into each one. From the very beginning, Beau took the time to listen carefully to what I wanted, then went above and beyond in preparing the designs—refining every line and detail until they were perfect. His patience, skill, and dedication to getting it just right made the whole experience feel thoughtful and personal. The tattoos themselves are stunning; the level of detail is far beyond what I expected, especially given their size. I left not only with beautiful artwork that I’ll treasure forever, but also with a deep appreciation for Beau’s talent, professionalism, and genuine passion for his craft.

Trav did a fantastic job with my LOTR themed tattoo. I am very happy with the thought put into the design and skill behind every detail. Highly recommend Trav and Beau, true master craftsmen.

Travis gave me and my friend a small tattoo and even though he probably wouldn’t call himself a fineline artist he did a brilliant job! He was very patient and adjusted well to out wishes. My tattoo is healed now and it’s beautiful, really well done. I’m very happy with it. 🙂

Beau completed the outline the for my sleeve, during the process we tweaked the original drawing to my delight as it has made the design really stand out. Nothing short of professional. His apprentice Travis was also great during my session today, both made me feel very relaxed and welcome in their studio. Highly recommend, Takumi Tattoo

I love going and having my tattoos done by Beau at Takumi. Beau really listens to what you want and then helps turn that into a unique and original design. His shop is clean, interesting, and has a lovely, inviting energy about it. You feel relaxed and taken care of. His work is beautiful and detailed - you won't leave disappointed.

I have had a few tattoos in my time and this was by far the best experience I have ever had. Personal and professional. Fantastic banter and amazing work. Beau is a bloody legend. Thank you for the fantastic work and the exemplary service. If you’re going to get a tattoo in Launceston there is no other place to go.
