Cute little studio, very clean. Accommodated four friends and I getting matching tattoos on pretty short notice. Our artist Sam was super patient with us, especially the friends getting their first tattoos. Cannot recommend The Painted Ape enough when it comes to bedside manner, ability, and vibes. Also really good pricing. If you're anywhere nearby, they're definitely worth a look! Only downside was finding the entry - at the back of the building, then up the stairs. We didn't see a sign anywhere so got a little lost, but other than that this was a 10/10 experience. Edit: was just thinking about it and they didn't check IDs or get us to sign any consent forms, which seems a little strange to me. I'm from Sydney where that seems to be standard practice, but maybe it's not in QLD?

Very nice studio, I got my first tattoo and the artist Sam was a very nice and chill guy, and I felt very comfortable, and he very professional! 5/5 stars!
