Tomodachi Tattoo Studio

Personally I came here to get a tattoo with Citrus Lucy! She did this adorable animal crossing design on my arm and I absolutely love it! The tattoo parlor is pretty small, it’s cozy and neat, and has a calm atmosphere. They also had free chocolates, a bathroom, and a comfortable waiting area. Which I appreciate. My experience was overall comfortable and I have no complaints besides the table I had to lay on was a bit hard (my session was at least 2 hours) so my lower back was hurting by the end of it, it’s not the tattoos artists fault though.🥲 I would love to come back here to possibly get a tattoo from the local artist since Lucy is originally from Sidney. All the other artist seemed chill and they have a nice variety when it comes to different tattoo styles and designs ! Shout out again to @citruslucy.ink ! Cheek out her insta, she did an amazing job 🥺🩷✨

Got my first tattoo here from Andy, last week wednesday. Was a great experience. Was given heaps of info about after-care, by spoken word and also in a Google doc they gave me a qr for. Was a great price. When I'm back in Melbourne would love to come back here for a few more if I have a chance.

Yunsu Lee my artist was Brilliant!! Clean studio, calm energy, zero ego! The detail and line work is next level and the whole experience felt easy and professional . Aftercare was great and communication was a breeze, Thank you Team and Yunsu!! If yall care about quality, book in. I will be back for more, no hesitation!! 🖤🫶🏽

Muki is the sweetest ever !! Her talent, kindness and hospitality are out of this world. I got my first tattoo from Muki and I still get compliments on it all the time. The tomodachi studio is beautiful, as well as in such a cute location, perfect for walking around and browsing Fitzroy before or after your appointment. The dedication from her and all the artists on the flash days to provide an enjoyable, fun experience was incredible. I have recommended the studio to my friends and cousins for their first tattoos and they loved it. We will be back again !!

I’ve had experience with many artists in Melbourne and so far, Yunsu has been the best one. He is very professional throughout the entire process. His fine line work is amazing 👌🏽

Amazing experience! I love the new tattoo ❤️ Emilio and Milky are best! Thanks guys!!

I booked a consultation with tattoo artist Cha Oreum because I was still deciding whether or not to get a tattoo. However, at no point before the appointment was I informed of any consultation or stencil fee. After the consultation, when I explained that I needed more time to think due to my budget and design details, I was suddenly asked to pay a $150 consultation fee that had never been disclosed beforehand. When I politely explained my concerns and the lack of prior notice, Cha Oreum blocked me on Instagram instead of responding professionally. I respect artists and their time, but fees must be clearly communicated before the service begins. Unexpected charges after the fact, followed by blocking a client who asks for clarification, is unprofessional and disappointing.
