Absolutely incredible experience at Sacred Monkey Tattoo! From the moment we walked in, Tegan, the manager, made us feel so welcome and comfortable. I had my work done by Mac and Dan, and both were absolute legends — professional, creative, and made the whole process feel effortless. My wife had her tattoo done by Saskia, who was equally amazing and really brought her vision to life. The whole atmosphere was so relaxing and therapeutic, it honestly felt more like a therapy session than just getting inked. Couldn’t recommend them highly enough — five stars all the way!

I had a few pieces done by Dan (plus a couple of touch ups) and he was amazing from start to finish!! The work he’s done is beautiful and better than I had envisioned, I can’t say how appreciative I am for his artwork & time. Everyone I encountered was friendly and welcoming. Dan was thorough with placements and communicated each step and ensured I was comfortable throughout. An awesome day, thank you so much - I’m so happy with the results!! 🙂

I flew all the way to Melbourne to get tattooed by a Dee (Ditte) who was guesting at Sactey Monkey Tattoo, and honestly this is my favourite studio I’ve ever been in. I’ve been to a lot of tattoo parlours, but this one stands out. I have pretty intense social anxiety, especially in places like this, but from the moment I walked in the experience was incredible. Over the two days I ended up talking to almost every artist there and genuinely left feeling like I’d made new friends. If you’re in Melbourne and have social anxiety or you’re on the fence about getting tattooed, these guys are the best 🥰 I will 💯 be back. And of course, a massive shout-out to my friend Dee (Ditte). She’s insanely talented, down-to-earth, and just an all-round amazing human.

I came here to get a tattoo done for my mother who passed away. I was absolutely more then happy with the outcome of the tattoo I can not express how pleased I am with it! I have already been back for another and I will definitely be back for more in the future! Not to mention the staff are very friendly and welcoming! Would definitely recommend! Edit : I now am working on a Traditional sleeve since coming in for just one tattoo! Can't thank my artist spike enough for all his hard work on my ink. Also the other tattooist are just amazing always friendly and have a great chat! I now have moved away 3hrs from this shop and will never go anywhere else! Worth the travel!! Great tattoos by great artists and you will have a great laugh why getting your tattoo. Very clean very professional and Teagan at the front is just amazing!

The crew at Sacred Monkey Tattoo are very friendly and it is a pleasure every time I go there. I went in to get a back piece done by Rob, when it was finished I was blown away so much so I’m now getting a body suit. Rob is an expert, his attention to detail and professional is second to none he is a master of his craft. If your thinking of Traditional Japanese this is the place to go

I've gotten tattooed twice at Sacred Monkey and I couldn't give a higher recommendation. Both times have been by Spike Potsy and he's a super professional lovely dude who's passionate about his craft. The studio is so beautiful and feels really clean. The atmosphere is super warm and inviting. Will definitely be back for more! ❤️
