Had a fantastic experience for my first tattoo! James made me feel comfortable and explained everything well. He gave me a few different size options and was easy to chat with. The whole process leading up to was very professional, the studio was modern and had a nice feel. Leave time to find a park. I love my new tattoo! James's line work was amazing and I'm so happy each time I look down and see it!

Got a tattoo from James today, was really nervous since it was my first tattoo but the second I walked into the waiting room I calmed down thanks to the peaceful environment. The set up of only having one customer per artist in store at a time makes everything so much more relaxing and efficient. James was very considerate about my custom tattoo and went completely out of his way to ensure that the design, positioning, and sizing were all perfect, and did a perfect job with the final ink, all while being super friendly and easy to talk to. 10/10 experience, highly recommend and will definitely return in future.

He was patient and took his time making sure I was happy both with design and the placement of my tattoo. He was professional and efficient and it was completed quicker than I expected. Had the best experience getting my first tattoo with James. I was honestly a bit nervous going in, but he made me feel so comfortable straight away, like I’d been there before. Super easy to talk to, really reassuring, and just an all-round vibe. He took the time to make sure everything was perfect and exactly what I wanted, which I really appreciated. You can tell he genuinely cares about his work and his clients. Couldn’t be happier with how it turned out!

This is the second time I have seen James. He is a true gentleman and professional. He makes the process so easy and comfortable. The Day One Atelier studio is beautiful, no heavy dettol smell or tacky pictures all over the walls, it gives day spa vibes. Oh and I love my tattoo!!

From my initial booking and draft of my design concept; to having my fine line tattoo today - I couldn't be more pleased with James's work! He is super professional, friendly and creates a calm environment for those who may be nervous (which I was). His artistry and attention to detail is incredible. Highly recommend!!
