Dark Matter Tattoo Piercing & Laser Removal Studio

I’d like to thank Dylan for creating a coat of arms on a pig skin that look 19th century. It looks absolutely amazing. I really appreciate all your hard work Dylan without your excellence and skills. I would never have imagined that this could occur. I’ve tried this three other times with other people and nobody quite hit the Mark but you’re amazing so thank you.

I’ve been coming to Dark Matter for my fine line work and the experience has been exceptional every single time. Dylan is incredibly talented — his attention to detail, clean linework, and ability to bring a design to life is second to none. The studio is professional, welcoming, and immaculately clean. You can tell everyone here genuinely loves what they do. Highly recommend Dark Matter to anyone looking for quality tattooing in Melbourne.

The piercer Dylan is such a genuine soul. Gentle and does a great job! He will deliver what you want and if he doesn’t he will patiently work with you to get your desired outcome. 10/10 customer service from him and his helper Cheryl . I will definitely be coming back. Great service always.

Got my first tattoo here last Saturday, and had a great experience. The staff were friendly and very good at putting me at my ease. Dylan even switched over their normal playlist to one made of Bowie songs in honour of my Bowie-themed tattoo. The whole process was as painless as possible, to me and my wallet. I'm not thinking of getting another tattoo at the moment, but if I were, I wouldn't hesitate to make another appointment here.

Amazing service from Dylan! Right from the beginning when removing my tattoo through to the final stage when I had my new tattoo designed. He went out of his way to fit me in for my appointments and always made sure I was comfortable and happy. Highly recommend!

Loving my tattoos that Dylan has done on me I first came on new year's day this year and wow it still perfect all the colours are still bright and awesome he also fixed a tattoo for me on my chest which is wow and the tattoo I just got to cover an old one which I called the blob looking good so far I have used second skin for the first time so I had no reaction to the adhesive it's not peeling off so all I can say is that Dylan is the magical tatt man . Thanks heaps Dylan I'll be back

I just got a tattoo done overseas, and they didn’t put a second skin on my forearm. I went to this shop, and even though he was busy with appointments, Dylan put a second skin on for me one last time. I know it wasn’t really necessary, but he did it anyway — absolute legend. That’s all I need to say. The place is so cool, I think I might get a full sleeve done there.
